UK3Floor were approached by a contractor (under time pressure) after being let down by another flooring company. They had to get the vinyl installation flooring project finished while their customer was away on holiday and UK3Floor stepped in at short notice. We turned up quoted and fitted all within 3 days from quotation. Materials where delivered next day and we went in after working hours to start the project which from start to finish took just 2 half days to complete. At UK3floor we well understand our customer's needs as regards meeting timelines. Floor coverings are always related to other activities in the home or office; after the painter and decorator but before the home or office furniture arrives! We do all we can to help meet our customer's requirements.

Water and moisture is always an issue if the correct preparation procedures are not followed. What is shown here is a liquid damp proof membrane (DPM) being put down to stop any moisture in the sub-floor affecting the flooring products that are put on top of it.

After the DPM has dried, we are then able to install a fast track liquid latex to give the flooring a perfectly smooth surface for the luxury vinyl Karndean planks to be adhered to. This is a tactic we use and recommend to provide a smooth surface to guarantee no subsequent issues arising when installing this type of flooring.

The final stage in this type of vinyl installation, where the customer opted for a Karndean wood plank look to match existing flooring they had previously fitted in the rest of the house some 5 years previously. As can be seen by the natural tone of the flooring, some find it hard to believe it’s a luxury vinyl tile and not a real wood! Perfect flooring solution and all finished on time for the customer to return from holiday to another UK3Floor project finished on time.
